A Comment I Made Under a New U2 "Get Out of Your Own Way" Video
I think, in the context, its inferring to some that what they have to say (in contrast to what Bono/U2 has to say) makes them as if a female dog/bitch. I do not appreciate that it seems to blame victims/ infer that they share the blame for the inexcusable injustices that they suffer at the hands of godless, conscienceless, and wicked individuals who abuse their power and authority to violate the God-given human rights of others (or who mindlessly and consciencelessly "just follow orders" to do so).
Yes, it's a good idea to avoid riots; and to not do what is wrong - such as make social media porno selfies; but that still does not address the true core problems. The main problem is that Satan currently rules this world system - and has successfully adopted many conscienceless human horde tool people to work along with him, to fight God and Christ, and to harm and destroy human beings (especially anyone TRUE to God).
The "beatitudes" stated heist, exploit and mock the Scriptural ones from Jehovah, and add to the unjust slander of Him, His Son, and TRUE Christians everywhere.
Overall rating: NOT OKAY.
In contrast to what is mocked in this song and video, these are the actual Scriptures many refer to/ allude to, with what they call "the beatitudes" -
“Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.
“Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted.
“Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.
“Happy are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness, since they will be filled.
“Happy are the merciful, since they will be shown mercy.
“Happy are the pure in heart, since they will see God.
“ Happy are the peaceable, since they will be called ‘sons of God.’
“Happy are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.
“Happy are YOU when people reproach YOU and persecute YOU and lyingly say every sort of wicked thing against YOU for my sake. Rejoice and leap for joy, since YOUR reward is great in the heavens; for in that way they persecuted the prophets prior to YOU." (Matthew 5:3-12)
Finally, after re-listening, I would go so far to say that the words are demeaning to the woman in question - with the intent to manipulatively de-power them. As such, the video and song are faulty and hurtful in their presumptuousness. A poor example to throw out upon the masses. And yet so many mindlessly cheer and go along with nearly anything.....
