For True Love of God (Edited)

For the love of God, true love of God
The faithful and obedient will LIVE
How could anyone, by conscience
The opposite message give?

Its Satan the Devil, not God at all,
Who is to blame for death
For getting people to believe the LIES
That THEY, not God, know best.

If I had a gift of music I worked
So as to stand on a global stage
I'd praise Jah, yes, "in front of all the nations",
But care about the messages I gave!

I would not misrepresent Him
Or blaspheme Him in any way
I wouldn't show art that mocked His truth
As part of my display.

For instance, 

Five years ago, 
There was a band
Who showed the world
The skull of a human.
An artist had seen fit, 
To encrust it
With diamonds everywhere -
But for what he called it,

He didn't care!!!

For the love of God 
Honest-hearted people
Are grateful for THE LOVE HE GIVES,
Especially that He LOVED the world so much
He sent His Son so the faithful could LIVE. 

What God wants is for people to LIVE
It's Satan who wants them dead -
He wants them to turn from the source of LIFE
To worship him, with his lies, instead.

Its sad and tragic when people die
And loved ones are grieved 
How thoughtless to make decorations
Like skulls of the deceased.

Are you all about living, not about death?
Death is "the last enemy"
And since Jah will raise the dead back to LIFE,
Terrible "skull art"
Is already OBSOLETE.
