I Kept on Beholding in the Night....

I kept on beholding in the night - 
So let down by what I'd see:
"Teachers" would steal God's holy words
To use wrongly for what's ordinary.

And I imagined the Jezebels and Jezebel men
Taking sermon notes and clapping their hands
Saying, "See what biblical allusions they make - surely through these heroes, God does save!"

And I thought on the lot of what I saw,
How in a short span of time,
The same ones singing Scripture bits
Also blasphemed God with lies.

Spirit...moving...born again...
Young men__visions...prayers...amen...
Don't belong "preached" with what's not right
(And "I Am" * was wrong, despite the hype).



*It was, "I SHALL PROVE TO BE."
