Lies are Not Art

There are those who have sung and told
Good ideas mixed with harmful lies.
The ideas were, "of course"-type ideas
But people wanted something to idolize.

The ideas were NOT even original ideas,
But you see, people had deafened their ears
Jah above had already taught the good ideas,
But people didn't want to hear.

WHY?

Well, you see, people DIDN'T WANT
The REST of God's truth.
They just wanted to hear
What they wanted to hear -
And with God's words, they'd pick and choose.

Would people even read their own Maker's Book?
Even if they did, most didn't understand
And a reason why they're confused,
Or even hate it
Is because of lies of Satan and men.

Also though, there is this:
The Creator tells people NO
About things He says are wrong -

AN IDOL WON'T TELL THEM SO 

And so people pick their gods
And often, its the more "fun" ones
With whom they feel so "free"
At least temporarily.

They seek out for themselves
Those who'd "spiritually" teach
Anything but the truth from God
And the requirements it brings.

The idols don't have God's Authority.
Nor His power, justice, wisdom, or love
The idols aren't their life-givers or life-takers,
Still, many don't seek God above.

It's so much "easier" to do
The things you know are wrong
If you can manage to fool yourself
And shut your conscience off

Look around and lie to deny
All the design you see
Cause if you can do that
You can sin as you wish
No need to obey God, gratefully.

There's no idol out there

 





 






It's just that people didn't want to
listen to the One whose
first taught the GOOD ideas.

Jehovah ALREADY taught that

Imagine a brotherhood of man!
Jehovah ALREADY
Asked people to live like that,
And promised that the world
WILL be like that, soon

No countries!
Jehovah ALREADY foretold
of the time when the kingdoms of man
in effect now
Will no longer exist;
And only His own Kingdom,
From Heaven down, will Rule.

I had a dream!
I had a PLAN, says God

these people, you hail has heros,
And me - you deny I even exist.
