Why do even celebrities copy the bad actions of other celebrities (and/or idolize them), instead of having the conscience and sense to look to God Almighty to guide them instead of men/women who do not know or obey/respect Him???
Last night, before an immediate massive concert audience, and then to an endlessly-extended mass-media audience, after shouting/rant-singing AGAINST JEHOVAH/YAHWEH GOD THE CREATOR and UNIVERSAL SOVEREIGN, "I DON'T BELIEVE ANYMORE!" - also leading "his" "church"/"people" to JOIN IN THAT SONG OF REBELLION with HIM -
then, Bono did what Yoko Ono did, and ripped up the book/book made to seem as being the Bible, that he portrayed himself as reading a Scripture from. (The "disclaimers" to what seems obvious here are made because I am aware of the game-playing and deviousness some people have used.)
In any case, THE DEFINITE, NET EFFECT IS THAT BONO DEMONSTRATED/TAUGHT and EXEMPLIFIED THAT THE BIBLE SHOULD BE RIPPED UP - AND THAT IT SHOULD TREATED AS IF TRASH - WITH HIM THROWING CHUNKS OF IT [a Bible/what was made to seem like the Bible] TO THE CROWD. (He also ripped up, again, what, in the context of the song, was inferred to be more "spiritual" literature - a dangerously potentially hate-and-injustice raising, God-affronting issue that I wrote of earlier. But who REALLY cares about offending God, or riling-up hate and injustice anyway? [Sarcasm.])
Yoko Ono, having offended many people, gave an "apology" that seemed to be more deviously and deviantly sarcastic than anything else - she said she "was sorry for spreading the word of God" [!!!!!!!!!] However, her actions remain shamefully EXCUSELESS. What she did was a never-significantly recanted or "made-up-for" ACT OF PUBLIC DISRESPECT, DEFIANCE, DEFAMATION to, and DESECRATION of THE PERSON OF GOD.
Bono has foolishly and so God-offensively (and offensively to others who are genuinely godly)
DONE THE SAME - only MANY TIMES OVER MUCH MORE OFFENSIVELY, SINCE THIS ACT OF PUBLIC REBELLION AGAINST GOD IS SO MUCH MORE MASS MEDIA-ED TODAY, and BONO IS AWARE OF THAT.
THE SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLE THAT COMES MOST TO MIND FOR BEHAVIOR SUCH AS THIS IS
NIMROD.
And it is curious, is it not, that the globalized internet, though it has definite benefits, has also created a new kind of Tower of Babel? There are those that use the internet and mass-media for good...But then there are those, who, like Nimrod, with such an "accomplishment" in mind, would claim the likes of "people have the power", and would offensively DEFY God to His face, figuring, that for all of the apparent human "mightiness", God and His instructions are a bothersome joke - no longer necessary.
HOW FALSE.
We know what happened to Nimrod and his "city". His legacy is a poor one.
God Himself interfered with that "city". He broke down the communication of its people, and caused them to disperse. Curious.
Today, however, what we do know is that Armageddon, by God, is on its way.
Also, Nimrod had his central "Tower" [never finished, due to Divine intervention] at Babel. That tower and that city was to be a "signal" and gathering point for people who largely practiced many different varieties of demon-lied-based false religions. Today, spiritually false persons and FALSE religionists - persons of Satan's world empire of all FALSE religions, aka, "Babylon the Great", are trying to once again raise - and are mass-media-recommending support of - the God-defiant, tower-like,
we-are-so-mighty-we-have-no-need-of-God"-but-will-rule-over-mankind-entity of the United Nations.
The United Nations not only has its own armed forces, but also has agreements with its member nations that it gets to use their armed forces as well, to serve its "goals".
How does that U2 song "Bullet the Blue Sky" song go again? And Bono's speeches claiming to be for "peace" and "non-violence"?
Bono, I don't believe in U2 anymore.
