HELLO AND WAKE UP TO THE REALITY: SATAN HAS THE POWER IN THIS WORLD, NOT PEOPLE!
Every patch of land on this planet
Has people in poverty.
Rather than regarding it as a buzz-word,
THINK of what that means.
There was an earthquake lately, hey -
People sent emergency supplies
And there they sat, in a pile, un-used,
With soldiers standing by -
And soldiers - let's talk about soldiers
How 'bout the kind that take children in the night
To injure, abuse and terrorize them
But "people have the power" - right [sarcasm].
And women - shall we even begin
With the effects of having lesser power?
If you take a jet, maybe you can still see some hanging
In a village square yet this hour.
People have the power - can't buy groceries
People have the power - the old are killed-off
People have the power - they can't have medicine
People have the power - a lie to scoff.
People have the power - their privacy's invaded
People have the power - their days dictated
People have the power - the planet's nearly-ruined
People have the power - it's just not true.
And every day, see the murders, violent crimes, and losses
Every day, haughty heads turn against those dealt injustice...
So I'll say it this way, and hope you'll understand -
That many people feel empowered to wield power TO DO BAD.
And the one who deceives them, to make them feel motivated, "licensed", and "entitled" to work destructive wickedness upon their fellow human beings - and yet feel unaccountable for doing such things too -
is "the ruler of the authority of the air", now on this earth,
among the world of mankind - and that evil being is Satan. (Ephesians 2:2)
Yet, people deny and ridicule the scriptural teaching that the Devil (and his demons) even exist. In doing so, however, they leave their life and their familys' lives; and their well-being, hearts, minds, relationships with God, and their eternal futures wide open to destruction from demons. You too, U2, in your song, "The Troubles" - which you have been mass-media-ing; and have now performed live, to throngs - also seem to be deriding the scriptural teachings that Satan and his demons do indeed exist, that they do make severe trouble for humans, and that persons need to OPPOSE them and their spiritual DECEPTIONS (and draw close to God [on His own terms] INSTEAD.) (James 4:7,8)
So, many, many people are living without even the thinking, guiding-conscience power of their own minds - because they have given their hearts and minds over to the lies, propaganda, and delusions - THE POWER and CONTROL, YES, of "the wicked one", his demons, and human hordes working along with them.
"We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one." (1John 5:19)
People have the power, most of them?
No - Satan, his demons, and (in a lesser way) many wicked people do.
Further, most people don't even want to listen to God, so as to be able to get the help from Him that they need (and can receive), in order to be okay in this crazy, hostile, and wicked world now - which is "power beyond that which is normal."(2Corinthians 4:7)
"People have the power" - My mind goes again to the image of the weeping husband in the desert, holding his wife's bleeding, pained head on his lap - all because some humans thought it fine to fly by and drop a bomb on other humans.
I am quite sure that if you were to have come by the scene of that tragedy - or any of the other countless scenes of tragedy wherein the victims have had NO CHOICE/ NO POWER - play your musical instruments, and serenade them with "People Have the Power", I am sure that they would neither believe you nor appreciate such an almost-mocking falsehood. I can't. I can't believe the news today....Do you....watch the news/read the news much?

They have STOLEN the FREEDOM, the wellness, and even the LIVES

True servants of Jehovah
have had their God-given human rights violated
(Especially their freedom of speech and freedom of worship).
They have been hurtfully mistreated.
They have been dealt severe injustices and life-robbing hardships.
They have been unjustly imprisoned, injured, tormented, and even killed.
AGAIN - WICKED beings, in conjunction with the Devil, have ROBBED
even true servants of God (persons doing HIS will)
of their individual POWER, even their lives.
But, Jehovah/Yahweh -
THE MOST POWERful Being in the Universe, ever, of course,
is also the BEST
at dealing out thorough, All-Knowing, and All-Seeing
JUSTICE -
And inescapable VENGEANCE
along with that.
So, HE HIMSELF WILL REPAY:
Soon, all of the evil tyrants, persecutors, oppressors,
and other wicked ones dealing gross injustice
and harm to their fellow human beings
WILL HAVE ALL OF THEIR "POWER" REMOVED
FROM THEM by God Himself -
He will make them cease to exist.
Then, Jehovah/Yahweh will re-empower
Those loyal and true to Him completely,
In all ways.
What was stolen from them,
By others abusing their "power",
Will be returned to them by God -
Life, freedom, happiness, wellness, peace,
And more....
Life here will become as
powerfully wonderful
As it was meant to be,
And the God who PROMISES
to make it that way
ABSOLUTELY
HAS THE POWER
(and the purpose)
To cause that
To come to be.
