Revelation 16:13,14; 17:8-14; Re: Judas
Posted after I learned of Bono's intense recent/ongoing involvement with the United Nations, for the apparent purpose of seeking "help" for the sick and poor; and his urging throngs of his fans and others, at a Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, to become "Global Citizens", to support the United Nations and its goals. So, it hasn't been only at his own concerts that he has been doing this.
How does that frequent opening taunt at the beginning of your "Until the End of the World" song go? Many times, it has been like this:
"JESUS, THIS IS JUDAS."
As things have become, that has taken on a deeper meaning as regards you, hasn't it?
I read a newspaper (paper, printed) interview of you, long ago - I think it was before you played your Pop-Mart concert in the "local" stadium. From your words, that article showed that you had NO whole-and-truthful scriptural understanding of how much of a total enemy-of-God Judas was. Instead of digging into the Scriptures and supporting your media-ed statement with them; you shared a pop-quote and pop-theory of the role of Judas, according to a pop-author named Kennedy INSTEAD.
And how OFF was that? [I wrote of this same problem years ago...] What that man espoused, and what you chose to teach the world then -
WAS THE OPPOSITE VIEWPOINT GOD or JESUS CHRIST THEMSELVES HAVE.
You taught the anti-scriptural view of the Kennedy man - THAT JUDAS WAS A KIND OF HERO.
OPPOSITELY, Judas is a person who let the Devil effect his heart and mind - by Judas' own wicked choices. Apostately, hypocritically, and disloyally, while hanging around Jesus Christ - appearing to be a follower of him - he was also making himself a proselyte of the wicked Pharisees. Judas also claimed to have a high interest in caring for the needs of the poor...
At the end of the day, without heart, devoid of any holiness or conscience, filled with the spirit of Satan, choosing to be a son and tool of the Devil (instead of a son of God), Judas exercised a Satanic hate for God and His Son by plotting and being a betraying accomplice to the murder of Jesus Christ, Son of God.
Opposite to the LIES taught in Catholicism and other FALSE religions of Christendom (of "Babylon the Great") Judas WAS NOT "PREDESTINED" to fulfill this role!!! God knew, as shown in prophesied scriptural detail, that some human would do these things - BUT NO HUMAN IN PARTICULAR was ever moved or set by God to take up the murderous traitor role that Judas CHOSE to. Jesus confirmed this:
So, in that article, you passed-on a terrible lie - in teaching that Judas performed a service to God and mankind by his TRAITOR-SHIP to Jehovah and His Son, by bringing about the murder of Jesus Christ.
Again, OPPOSITE to the Catholicism both you and I were "raised" in (but which I entirely LEFT, decades ago now) - JUDAS DIED AN ENEMY OF GOD - he was completely responsible for his own demonic actions that brought about the murder of Jesus. Jesus described Judas as being the "SON OF DESTRUCTION", and too, that he was "LOST". Also, the wicked Pharisees of Jesus' Day were condemned to Gehenna (everlasting death, with out any resurrection) by Jesus Christ, for their excuseless, demonized, injustice and harm-causing evil hypocrisy and apostasy towards Jehovah/Yahweh and His own-sent Son. Jesus stated that these Pharisees likewise make proselytes like themselves - so excuselessly evil and actually anti-God that they, too, become condemned by God to everlasting death. Judas was a proselyte to these Pharisees, and conspired with them to kill God's Son. So, by all known scriptural evidence and standards, Judas, who made himself an ultra-enemy of Jehovah and Jesus Christ was "LOST" indeed - Gehenna became his lot: EVERLASTING DEATH, FOR BEING SUCH AN ENEMY OF GOD, WITH NO POSSIBLE HOPE OF ANY RESURRECTION, any future life, in any shape or form, ever again. Further, Judas will always be looked down upon as being a hideously EVIL fool - NOT a "hero" AT ALL, to those who know and understand God's truth. Additionally, the 30 pieces of silver that Judas received as payment from the Pharisees, for betraying the Son of God - causing his murder - NEVER DID END UP "HELPING THE POOR." Instead, they were spilled on the ground of the field where Judas hung himself, after he realized what he did.
So, I wouldn't want to MASS-MEDIA CONCERT-TEACH ANTI-SCRIPTURAL LIES REGARDING the Judas that killed Jesus Christ anymore, if I were you - romanticizing him or wrongly teaching "excuses" for him anymore. [The "Jesus Christ Superstar" movie of our day was also WRONG in these regards. (Nice singing, TERRIBLY anti-scriptural message.)]
In an even-bigger matter than that though, I wouldn't want to actually ever be in the role of a demonic, two-faced, hypocritical, treachery-enacting, scriptural warning-of-God-ignoring-and-defying Judas, would you???

"And I saw three unclean inspired expressions [that looked] like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty."

"And when they see how the wild beast was, but is not, and yet will be present, those who dwell on the earth will wonder admiringly, but their names have not been written upon the scroll of life from the founding of the world. “Here is where the intelligence that has wisdom comes in: The seven heads mean seven mountains, where the woman sits on top. And there are seven kings: five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet arrived, but when he does arrive he must remain a short while. And the wild beast that was but is not, it is also itself an eighth [king], but springs from the seven, and it goes off into destruction. “And the ten horns that you saw mean ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings one hour with the wild beast.
